Today I learned how to use Google Slides to present my Pepeha. It was good to familiarise myself with some of the word art tools and layering using Control, Shift, Arrow Up or Down to bring objects forward and backwards. I also learned some tricks about looping the presentation by clicking on the start and restart options before publishing. Big thanks to Makaore for his support with my Pepeha.

What a lovely way to present your pepeha. You've inspired me to have a go at doing mine. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandra, it was a good way to incorporate the skills we have been learning with something that can be used time and time again.
DeleteKia ora Jo,
ReplyDeleteIt was really lovely to view your pepeha. The photos and transitions are magnificent, as is the word art. I really got a glimpse into who you are and who is important to you. Really beautiful. Maybe you could try creating a screencastify of you reading it, then we could hear your voice too.
Your video playlist has three excellent videos to challenge our thinking around education. You could also check out Paul and Helen's blog posts from Rāwhiti School to get you thinking around creativity. They have some challenging thoughts.
Great to read your blog and see what you are learning. I look forward to reading more in the future.

ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to check out my Blog and for your positive feedback. I did think about adding a recording of my Pepeha, however I will need to do some practising on my pronunciation first, especially if it stays as a record on my Blog!
I have learned such a lot on the DFI in a very short time, I just hope I can remember it all :)
