Digital Dig

One of the activities today was to use a chromebook to do a list of tasks in order for us to find our way around the functions on a chromebook and to gain an understanding of the tool many of our Learners use.  I started this in the morning session then finished it later in the evening.  I have to confess I asked my daughter how to take a photo using the chromebook as I struggled to work that one out, she of course knew straight away.  The lighting is not great on the photo but I managed to complete the task.

  1. Kia ora Jo,

I confess, I've had to ask students to show me how to do things on the chromebooks in the past. They are a bit different than our own devices and it can be tricky when we aren't using them.

I thought your Explain Everything picture looked good. Did you enjoy playing with the iPads?

We use the digital dig occasionally in the classroom, as it is a good reminder for students that have forgotten little tips and tricks.

    Ngā mihi,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I love learning the tips and tricks, the problem is trying to remember them. I suppose the key is using them as soon as possible. The other way is to teach others to help cement the learning.
